Summit Racing 1:6 Scale Top Fuel Hemi Racing Engine

Hardcore engine guys like to collect interesting objects like bent rods, holed pistons and mangled valve train remains. They stack them on their bookshelves like miniature trophies or reminders of catastrophic errors.

One collector showed us a B17 connecting rod from a WWII bomber and we’ve all seen collections of destroyed pistons from failed nitrous experiments. But serious collectors also appreciate books, wall signs and well-built models of their favorite cars or in our case race engines.

If you’re storing relics of lost horsepower on your bookshelves, you might as well put some horsepower back in the equation with some seriously detailed model racing engines like this 1:6 scale Dodge 426 Top Fuel Hemi from Summit Racing.
If you can’t have a real one you can certainly ease the pain with this detailed historically correct model of one of drag racing’s most prolific racing engines. Study the accompanying photos to see the amazing degree of detail presented in this die-cast model racing engine.

All of the racing components are replicated in perfect detail. From the monster supercharger and front blower drive system to the detailed dry sump oil system, it’s all there in astonishing detail that includes braided oil lined fuel lines and spark plug cables. The model measures 7-1/2 inches tall, 7 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The reproduction detail is superb and the price is right for a fully assembled engine. Once you get one you’ll likely want more and there are more than a dozen different engines available from a stock looking 350 Chevy to a snarling Shelby 427. They’re way cool for the price.
